Simcade Global Endurance Debut - 6 Hours of Spa

Simcade made its official LMP2 endurance debut in the top split of the 6 Hours of Spa, hosted by iRacing in the Global Endurance CONSPIT Tour. With over 420 teams and 900+ drivers participating, teams were split based on their skill rating, placing Simcade in the top competitive split. Top split hosted 47 teams including Ferrari Driver Academy's Jarno Koch, YouTube and Twitch streamer Basic Ollie. Simcade brought home P6 in class, collecting 126 championship points after 169 laps at the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps late into the night. Surviving two contacts with an overtaking GTP exiting Stavelot and a GT3 misjudging their distance into Bruxelles, Simcade was able to press on and minimize the time lost. Fuel savings played an integral part of the strategy. A wide range of tactics were being deployed. Some teams opted to go for pure pace and pitted after 18 laps while others were able to extend to 20 lap stints. Each lap giving precious seconds of track time in the final pit stop. Ultimately, Tocino's Motorsport by ABDSL would go on to take victory in the LMP2 class, mixing 19 and 20 lap stints to balance speed with fuel savings.
